25 years ago a golf course was built in the southeast of Munich. It was designed by the famous German course architect Kurt Rossknecht with love for nature. He created an 18-hole course that has been one of the best in Bavaria for years. With it`s perfectly maintained fairways and it`s fast and faithful greens, the Championship Course offers golf lovers a wonderful setting for fantastic golf rounds. The varied, spacious courses of the championship course, between biotopes and forest, underline the high standards. The holes are well separated from each other by dense rows of trees. At the same time, the course remains entertaining with a wide variety of course routes. The tees can be reached with short ways from the green without being disturbed by following players

The fact that the course has already been selected twice to host the German Mid-Amateur Championship also speaks for the quality of the course.

Particularly charming are the play positions of the undulating greens, which are also well defended by bunkers or water hazards.

The Arabella Course with nine holes (par 27, 1.464/1.402 m) offers the ideal complement and is worthwhile for beginners as well as for experienced golfers. The quality of the courses and greens meets the same criteria as on the big course. Tip: Guests are always welcome on the Arabella short course, starting times are not necessary (handicap -54 required, VcG players are allowed).

In addition, the GC Schloss Egmating offers a variety of practice possibilities, from the Arabella Course to the spacious driving range with covered tees, pitch and putt area (three putting greens), to video and computer aided instruction in the SMARTGOLF Academy including trackman training.

The stylish ambience of the club rooms and the adjoining trattoria “Cristalina” with it`s Italian kitchen invite you to relax after the round. The “break green” on the driving range is unique: a snack station that offers players refreshments and delicacies for the small hunger in between on the way from green 9 to tee 10. The coffee lover will be very satisfied by the Italian coffee machine.
